What the hell is this, you ask? This is a timelapse movie Justin and I made while driving back from Santa Cruz on May 10 2007. We mounted a camera on the radiator grille and had our robot take a picture every 4 seconds, while another one of our robots tagged it with the exact GPS coordinates of the picture, and then yet another robot later updated it live on Google Maps, which you should see above. I'm wondering if this is streaming alright? Does it seem to choke your CPU? Does the google maps window update reasonably smoothly? There's also a youtube version, which gives you an idea of what it's supposed to look like. And there's also a daytime version. Let me know how it works for you.
